The operating system for personal robots(OS/PR) is the software components of the computer systems in personal robots. It will be used to manage the resources of the personal robots. Unlike an operating system for a computer system, an OS/PR must ground its symbolic representations into the physical world via real-time signals collected from different sensors built in the bodies of robots. Just as human beings, the most critical sensors in a personal robot is eyes; namely, video cameras, in a personal robot.
At Yang’s Scientific Research Institute, we are designing the first generation of OS/PR based on the advanced physical linguistic programming platform. With the help of the Theory of the Unicogse, we can easily transform un-measurable aspects of human minds, such as, emotions and intuitions, into measurable quantities under the Universe-Cognition Dualities. By doing so, the rational and irrational aspects of human minds can be programmed under the same computable platform and thus into the OS/PR.
